Litany of Praise

Leader:

As we prepare for offertory, we thank you today, O Lord, for those who treasure service to you; and whose warm smiles and demeanor, greet and direct us each week. As we reflect upon their service, and draw us closer to you.

Almighty God, you are more precious than silver, more costly than gold, and more beautiful than diamonds. Nothing we desire compares to you.

People:

God, You are our treasure and our heart is with You. For you have declared in your Word, “Where our treasure is, there our heart will be also.”

Leader:

Because You are our treasure, we delight in You, knowing that
You have promised to give us the desires of our heart.

People:

Because You are our treasure, we joyfully honor You with the first fruits of all our increase, knowing that our barns shall be filled with plenty and our vats shall burst forth with new wine. Because You are our treasure, we willingly bring all of our  tithe and offerings into the storehouse that there may be provision in this house, knowing that You have promised to open the windows of heaven and pour us out a blessing that there shall not be room enough for us to receive.

Leader:

Because You are our treasure, we willingly, joyfully, and cheerfully give unto You, knowing that it shall be given unto us, with good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over.  For with the same measure that we give, it shall be given unto us.

People:

Because You are our treasure, we worship You today in our giving. For we realize that we are never more like You than when we give. For God, You so loved the world that You gave your only begotten SON, that whoever believes in Him would not perish, but have everlasting life! Thank YOU for giving to us, and now we give to You our tithe, our offering, our praise, and our worship. Alleluia!
